SuttleBand to perform Rock Hil’s First ever Food Truck Friday, May 15th from 6-9pm!! Come on out and get your din din from a truck, chill in the park, enjoy a cold beverage, and listen to the Band do it’s thang!! This is the first event of its kind n Rock Hill and at a great downtown venue (also known as Old Town) called Fountain Park. It’s awesome! Obviously, there are fountains. There is a grassy field for your to stretch out and relax, get down, or whatever suites your fancy. Most importantly, there is an amphitheater like stage with top notch sound production provided. Oh yeah, did I mention a whole lotta’ Food Trucks. I have to say that the Food Truck Events in Charlotte’s Southend area are a blast and the food you can get from a truck is surprisingly amazing…Kudos to the City of Rock Hill for putting this on for our community and the band can’t wait to see as many of you as we can out there letting loose with your friends and family.
SuttleBand Newz Update! Band frontman Bryman Suttle has confirmed through unnammed sources that there will be an L-train sighting this weekend. Mr Letron Brantley will be sharing the stage with us and wielding his magic sax! Letron anchored the Pimp Daddy Horns back in the 90’s w Stan Parks on trumpet and David Barstow on the trombone. They were bad to azz!!
Keep on Truckin’!
Look out Baxter Village!! SuttleBand will bring it’s electric vibe to this intimate patio setting at Beef O’ Brady’s located along the happening Market Street in Fort Mill’s Baxter Village. Get there early in case you want to eat and get a good seat. Don’t worry about inclement weather, the show will still rock on inside! But we expect a great twilight of groove and brew from 7:30 to 11PM. This event is family friendly too is case you were wondering. See you there!
Check this show out! Great concert room for live music in case ya’ did’t know! Local groovesters – SuttleBand – team up again with Rock Hill’s favorite sons – SmackLily – for this body shaking, out-of-body musical experience. SuttleBand is also happy to have drum-master Dave Sarn back in action after unfortunate circumstances stole his SuttleBand debut back in December. Since the show must go on, SmackLily drummer and long time friend and former bandmate – Jim St.Clair – covered in grand style, pulling double duty (and double pay) that night. Now we get to do it again, and in big fashion, at Rock Hill’s The Long Branch. 9:15pm Showtime for SmackLily. 10:30pm downbeat for SuttleBand. Only $5 to get in. kabooooooom!!

Rock Hill’s homegrown groove-sters and rockers, SuttleBand & SmackLily, have joined together for this high energy show. This milestone event starts at 9:15pm with Suttle taking the stage first. This performance also marks the return of longtime regional mainstay SmackLily back to the stage after a 3 year hiatus and SuttleBand’s first show with new drum master David Sarn. Sarn’s addition came about this fall after longtime drummer Mike Scarboro left the band in July to pursue his graduate studies in Utah. Dave has proved to be a seamless transition with his amazing talent and immediate chemistry with the band. Don’t miss this Christmas Jam!
In addition to newcomer David Sarn on the skins, SuttleBand features regional mainstay Bryman Suttle on lead guitar and vocals, Aaron Thomas on bass guitar, and highlights vocalist compliment, Bronwyn Allen – whose hypnotic and inviting voice has been known to bring a grown man to his knees.
SmackLily members Jim St.Clair and Chad Gerald go way back with players Aaron, Bryman, and Dave all the way back to Northwestern High School in the early 90’s and Jeff Barrett and Bryman have been friends since Sullivan Middle School in Rock Hill. What’s interesting is all of these folks have had on-again and off-again musical relationships having played in various bands with on another and in various combinations for over two decades. If fact, Bryman, Aaron, Jeff, and Jim all began their musical journey together when Battalion first hit the stage in 1990 playing a mix of heavy metal, hair metal and later a little grunge. Bryman left the band in 1992 to start regional funksters Chronic and Aaron, Jeff, Jim, and Chad went on to morph into local rock legends Bleeka and then, Smack Lily. Smack Lily went dormant nearly four years ago with Aaron reconnecting with Bryman to develop the SuttleBand project. This show marks the band’s long awaited return with new bass player in tote and there is no better way to relaunch a rock band than to partner with longtime friends and bandmates to party like rock stars with star studded crossover fan base that is sure to fill this very large room and that can consume enough alcohol to kill a large farm animal….
See you all at Luke’s!!
